Why authors choose us

The things that actually matter when you are trusting someone with your book

Free sample before you commit

We write or edit 1,500 words of your actual book before you pay anything. You judge the work, not the sales pitch.

You keep every right and every royalty

Copyright assigns to you in writing. Retailer accounts are in your name. We never take a percentage of your sales.

A mutual NDA, signed first

Confidentiality is agreed before we read a word of your material — not after you have paid a deposit.

Fixed prices against milestones

You see the whole figure in your own currency before you commit, and you pay as work is delivered.

Writers matched to your genre

We shortlist writers who have published in your category and share their samples. You choose the person.

One team, first call to launch

The same project manager throughout. No handoffs to a different department at every stage.

Questions

The things people ask before they commit

How much does it cost to write and publish a book?

It depends on what you need. Our packages start at £299 for a finished manuscript — edit, cover, formatting and publishing. Larger packages, and full ghostwriting, are quoted against your actual book. Up to 30% off selected packages. Our cost calculator gives you a realistic figure in your own currency in about thirty seconds, and every quote we issue is fixed and milestone-based.

How long does the whole process take?

From a finished manuscript to a book on sale is typically eight to twelve weeks. A ghostwritten book from first call to publication runs six to nine months. You receive a dated schedule before you commit anything, and weekly progress updates throughout.

Do I keep the rights and the royalties?

Yes — all of both. Copyright assigns to you in writing, your name goes on the cover, retailer accounts are set up in your name and royalties are paid directly to you. We are paid once, for the work. We never take a percentage of your sales.

Do you work with authors outside the UK?

Constantly. We are a London-registered company working with authors across Europe, North America, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific and Africa. Consultations are scheduled in your time zone, quotes are issued in your currency, and books are distributed to every market Amazon and Ingram serve.

Can I speak to the writer before committing?

Yes, and you should. We shortlist writers published in your genre, share their samples, and arrange a call with your preferred choice before any contract is signed. If the chemistry is not right, we shortlist again.

What if I am not happy with the work?

Every project has milestone review points where you approve before we proceed. Two full revision rounds are included as standard. If we cannot get a milestone right, you are not obliged to continue, and you keep everything delivered and paid for up to that point with rights assigned.

Is my idea safe with you?

Yes. A mutual non-disclosure agreement is signed before we see your material — not after you have paid. Every writer, editor and designer on our team is bound by it individually.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. Projects are billed against milestones rather than upfront, so payments track delivery. For larger projects we can spread this across the schedule. Ask during the consultation and we will structure it around your situation.
